Private Hire Information
If you organise group travel to places of interest or transport people to and from your place of work, WBT offers some great bus hire deals outside of peak travel times.
We cater for anything from the occasional private hire to regular contract hire services (for works, schools and practically any other group needing transport), and offer buses with 25,
39 and 77 seats.
- Our 25 seat minibus is a good choice for a small study group, a small works outing/function, or transfers to and from the local airport.
- Our 39 seat easy access midibus has a low floor, a ramp included in the entrance to permit wheelchair access (a maximum of 1 wheelchair may be carried - but the seating capacity drops to
36) and an entrance step that can be lowered to permit the elderly or less able to board with confidence. It is popular with mums and tots with prams, who appreciate the 'wheel-on facility', and for a useful 'one-class' size for school children going out on a field trip, our
39 seat midibus is just the ticket.
- Our 77 seat double decker buses are ideal for school 'year' or 'reward' trips, social club outings to the theatre or the coast, moving employees to and from industrial sites, or for park and ride
schemes for "one-off" or regular
events.
- Our 64 seat vintage
double decker bus is ideal for
contemporary events and can be the
"something old" at your
wedding. Whilst not suitable for the longer
distance hire, our old-timer remains a firm
favourite for that "something
special" type of hire.
- Our drivers are trained to the highest standards and
will take your group to its destination in complete safety and comfort.
- All our vehicles operate a strict no smoking policy and are specially valeted prior to your hire. All private hire and contract buses are also used on
local bus services, so, in keeping with
current legislation, they are not fitted with seat belts.
