The Real Time Passenger Information System uses a satellite tracking system to monitor the progress of all WBT buses in the surrounding area. Our service managers identify vehicle locations and take steps to ensure bus reliability, with arrival times then predicted and displayed on electronic screens to keep passengers informed.
Since becoming operational in 2004, RTPI has proven hugely popular with all of our customers and now operates at 225 bus stops across Warrington and all 19 bays at Warrington bus station.
