Network
Warrington operates a comprehensive network of bus services to all
parts of town and further afield to Altrincham, Earlestown, Leigh,
Newton-le-Willows and Northwich. We always strive to provide the best
possible service to our customers, and offer a wide range of
tickets that can help you make big savings, wherever you want to
go on our buses.

Singles - top
Standard
single tickets can be purchased from the driver at any time for
any journey on one bus, with child singles also available at
reduced rates.
Prices
: Adult prices start at 80p and rise to
£2.85 for
longer journeys.
Day
Returns - top
Money
saving Day Returns are available from the driver for most journeys
and are valid for one return journey on the day of issue. Adult
tickets can be bought anytime, but child tickets can only be
purchased after 09:00 on Monday to Friday, but all day on
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
Prices
: Adult prices range from £1.55 to
£3.20.
Young
Travellers - top
We
also offer a wide range of money saving deals for families and
children.
Up to two children under 5 years of age, if accompanied by an adult/senior citizen fare paying passenger or a holder of a valid adult/senior citizen pass, and not occupying a seat, are allowed to travel free.
Unaccompanied children under 5 and children under 5 accompanied by a child fare paying passenger or holder of a valid child pass, will be charged the appropriate child fare.
Children aged 5 to 15 inclusive travel at
reduced rates, usually around half the adult fare within Warrington, Halton, Cheshire and Merseyside and on all 'cross-boundary'
trips. Any fractions of 1p are rounded up. Within Greater Manchester, children aged 5 - 15 inclusive travel at a special concessionary fare,
currently 70p, per each single journey.
Under
16s, who look 16 or older, can obtain a Network Warrington Under
16 Permit for 50p (call to request an application form).

Family Day Return - top
Great
value for 2, 3 or 4 people travelling together when at least one
person is under sixteen, these tickets can be bought on the bus and
are valid for one return journey anytime on the day of issue,
except before 09:00 on schooldays.
Hospital Thrufare - top
These
tickets make journeys to of from Warrington Hospital on Lovely
Lane so much easier, and cheaper too.

a Thrufare ticket from the driver of your bus into town.
Change
at either Warrington Interchange or Legh Street
Show
your Thrufare ticket to the driver of the bus from town to the
Hospital.
From
the Hospital :
Buy
a Thrufare ticket from the driver of your bus into town.
Change
at either Warrington Interchange, Legh Street or Sankey Street
Show
your Thrufare ticket to the driver of the bus from town to your
destination.
Prices : An
80p supplement is added to the price of your normal
single ticket.
There
are no child rate or return Thrufares.
Town Centre Fare - top
If
you're on a bus passing the Town Hall or Central Station and want
to get to Bridge Street or Academy Way, you can change buses at
the Interchange or Sankey Street without any extra charge - just
show your ticket to the driver.
You
can also make this journey, or one from Academy Way and Scotland
Road back to the Interchange, for a special 10p single
fare.
Day Rovers - top
Adult, Senior Citizen and Disabled Person Day Rovers are available for unlimited travel, on the day of issue only. Child Day Rovers (available
only to holders of Network Warrington 'Under 16' Permits) are available only from 09:00 on Monday to Friday, but at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and
Public Holidays, on the day of issue only.
Day Rovers
can be bought on the bus and are valid on any service operated by
Network Warrington, but not on services operated by other bus companies. Day Rover Tickets are not transferable, and should be presented for inspection on each journey.

For children who are aged 5 - 15 inclusive and hold a Network
Warrington Child under 16 Card. Children without 'Under 16' Permits, or wishing to travel before 09:00 on Monday to Friday, may purchase adult tickets and the normal adult accompanying child arrangements will apply.
Up to two children under 5 years of age travelling with the holder of a valid Adult or Senior Citizen Day Rover ticket travel free in the usual way.
Senior Citizen Day Rovers can be issued to passengers presenting suitable proof of age (e.g., any concessionary bus pass/permit, Senior Citizen Railcard, pension book etc.). Disabled Person Day Rovers can be issued to passengers presenting any valid Disabled Persons concessionary travel pass/permit.

There are
two types of Savercard, and both offer cheap, unlimited travel at
all times in weekly or monthly formats.
Town Savers cover most parts of town and Network Savers give
complete coverage of all our services - just present a passport
sized photograph to the Network Warrington Information Office at
Warrington Interchange to receive your membership card and wallet.
NOTE 1 : Town Saver holders travelling to or from points outside the 'Town Saver' area may use their ticket for the portion of the journey within the 'Town Saver' area and additionally pay the single or day return fare for the section of the journey falling outside the 'Town Saver' area.
NOTE
2 : Savers are valid on other Network Warrington services (schools, etc), but only on sections of the route common to the appropriate saver ticket type.
They are not valid on Contract Bus operations (Svcs 96(UU),
97(BPX), 98(BPS) & 99(O2) ).
20•21 Rider - top
Regular
travellers on services 20 and 21 can save money with a 20•21 Rider.
They give unlimited travel on services 20, 20A, 21 and 21A on the
day of issue and for the following six days. Buy them on the bus,
it couldn't be easier.
Price
: £9.25
Dogs - top
Dogs, on a leash, may be carried provided that they do not occupy a seat, do not cause inconvenience to other passengers, and that there is sufficient room for them. The charge is 25p per single journey. Guide dogs and 'hearing' dogs are carried free.
Network Warrington reserve the right not to carry any dog.
New Deal - top
Passengers travelling under the government's New Deal arrangements
can, on production of a valid related identity photocard, buy a ticket at half the appropriate adult single or day return fare.
Over
60, Reduced Mobility or Visually Impaired - top
With
a senior citizen/disabled person permit, you can travel by bus for
free after 09:30 on Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday, Sunday
and Public Holidays. Just contact your local council to obtain
your money saving travel permit, using the relevant number below.

On
production of a valid "National" Senior Citizen or
Disabled Person Concessionary Travel Pass the holder can travel, on payment of
HALF-FARE,
on Monday to Friday before 09:30. After this time, on Monday to
Friday, and all day on Saturday Sunday and Public Holidays, travel
is FREE on production of a valid pass. The
pass is valid throughout England but local
variations may apply.

System 1 (Greater Manchester) Day Savers - top
The full range of bus related Day Saver tickets are valid, and can be purchased, on any
Network Warrington bus within Greater Manchester.
Additionally, the following other areas are also included in the scheme (points between Culcheth Library and
East Lancashire Road, Greyhound Hotel on Services 19, 28 & 28A - points between Lymm Church and Heatley Heath, Green Dragon on
Services 5 and 38 - points between Lymm Church and Bow Green Road, Bowdon on

Greater Manchester Wayfarer Tickets - top
The full range of bus related Wayfarer tickets issued by
GMPTE in Greater Manchester are valid all day on all scheduled
Network Warrington services. Wayfarer tickets are not sold by Network Warrington, but may be purchased in the
Wayfarer area at manned railway stations. For more details please contact GMPTE on 0161-228-7811.
Cheshire
Sunday Adventurer Day Rover Ticket - top
Unfortunately,
this ticket was withdrawn from use on Thursday 1st May
2008.

PlusBus Tickets - top
"PlusBus" gives you unlimited travel on most buses at either or both ends of your rail journey. It can be bought as an add-on to any rail journey that starts or finishes at participating stations, and gives you access to most of the bus network in that area for the whole day.
Season Ticket add-ons are available for both
ends of your regular rail journey, check out the website at
www.plusbus.info for further
information.
PlusBus is available to be added
on to all rail tickets to both Warrington
main-line stations, except for
those tickets issued at Glazebrook, Birchwood, Padgate or Sankey
stations.
Since the introduction of this
facility in October 2002, some 235 stations
nationwide have a PlusBus scheme, and
PlusBus continues to be rolled out across the country to every significant town in England, Scotland and Wales.
